CRM PLUS on LINE vs Wholesale Lock Manager: B2Bfor Shopify (2026)
CRM PLUS on LINE and Wholesale Lock Manager: B2B, while both categorized under 'Accounts and login' in the Shopify app store, cater to vastly different needs and merchant profiles. CRM PLUS on LINE focuses on leveraging the LINE messaging platform for customer relationship management and marketing automation. It allows merchants to integrate their Shopify store with LINE, enabling personalized messaging based on customer data and behaviors like abandoned checkouts. The app's strength lies in its ability to enhance customer engagement and drive sales through targeted LINE communication, especially for businesses with a significant customer base on the LINE platform. A key feature is its integration with Shopify Flow for more advanced automation. Wholesale Lock Manager: B2B, on the other hand, targets merchants operating in the B2B or wholesale space, or those who need to control access to specific products, pricing, or content on their Shopify store. It provides tools to hide prices, products, collections, or even the entire storefront based on customer groups, login status, or access codes. Its strength is in its ability to manage wholesale and retail operations from a single Shopify store, offering control over who sees what. It's valuable for businesses that need to segment their offerings or provide exclusive access to certain customers. Our Verdict
Choosing between CRM PLUS on LINE and Wholesale Lock Manager: B2B depends heavily on your business model and specific needs. If your primary goal is to leverage LINE for customer communication, marketing automation, and personalized messaging, CRM PLUS on LINE is the clear choice. Its strength lies in enhancing customer engagement and driving sales through targeted LINE interactions.
However, if you operate a B2B or wholesale business, or need to restrict access to certain products, prices, or content based on customer groups, Wholesale Lock Manager: B2B is the superior option. It provides the necessary tools to manage wholesale operations from a single Shopify store and control who sees what. Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
CRM PLUS on LINE offers initial setup support, suggesting a potentially more complex setup process, but also assistance. Wholesale Lock Manager: B2B doesn't mention setup support, implying a potentially simpler, more self-serve setup, but this is just an assumption. Without direct user feedback on ease of use, it's difficult to definitively say which is easier.
Which app provides a better ROI (Return on Investment)?
The app that provides better ROI depends entirely on your business needs. CRM PLUS on LINE provides ROI by increasing sales and customer engagement through targeted LINE marketing. Wholesale Lock Manager: B2B provides ROI by streamlining B2B sales and managing wholesale operations efficiently, potentially reducing administrative overhead and protecting wholesale pricing.
Does either app offer a free plan or trial period?
The provided descriptions do not mention whether either app offers a free plan or a trial period. You would need to check the app listing in the Shopify App Store for this information.
Which app is better for a store that only sells directly to consumers (DTC)?
For a store that only sells directly to consumers (DTC), CRM PLUS on LINE is likely the better choice. Wholesale Lock Manager: B2B is primarily designed for businesses with B2B or wholesale operations. CRM PLUS on LINE can help improve customer engagement and drive sales through personalized LINE messaging, which is relevant for DTC businesses.
How does the 'Accounts and login' category apply to these two very different apps?
While seemingly disparate, both apps touch on account and login management. CRM PLUS on LINE allows LINE Login integration (Shopify Plus only). Wholesale Lock Manager directly uses login/account status to gate access to different parts of the site and set product prices.
