Stockist Store Locator vs TPM Weightifyfor Shopify (2026)
Stockist Store Locator and TPM Weightify are Shopify apps tailored for distinct merchant needs in the 'Selling in person' category. Stockist Store Locator focuses on enhancing the customer experience and driving in-store sales by providing a powerful, customizable store locator. With a high rating and established user base, its strength lies in its ease of use, customization options, and valuable analytics. It targets businesses with physical storefronts or retailers, dealers, and distributors who want to direct online traffic to physical locations. TPM Weightify, on the other hand, is a specialized app designed to streamline the Point of Sale (POS) process for merchants selling products by weight, such as grocery stores or delis. Its primary focus is on improving efficiency and accuracy in transactions involving weight-based product sales. Given its lack of reviews and zero rating, it's a newer, less established app. The core value proposition revolves around eliminating manual weight entry errors at checkout within the POS system. Merchants would benefit by faster checkout times as a result.

Our Verdict
The choice between Stockist Store Locator and TPM Weightify depends entirely on the merchant's business model. If you have physical stores and want to drive online traffic to those locations, provide a better customer experience with intuitive store search, and gain insights into customer search behavior, Stockist Store Locator is the clear winner. Its strong rating and numerous positive reviews suggest a reliable and effective solution.
However, if you operate a business that sells products by weight through a POS system, and you need to streamline the checkout process and eliminate weight entry errors, TPM Weightify is tailored for that specific need. While its lack of reviews is a risk, if the functionality aligns perfectly with your requirements, it could be a worthwhile investment, especially if other comparable apps don't exist. The merchant needs to consider the risk associated with potentially undiscovered problems with a brand new app.
Common Questions

Does Stockist offer analytics to track customer searches?

What if I need both a store locator and weight-based POS functionality?
