Stockist Store Locator vs Task Sync | Mange tasksfor Shopify (2026)
Stockist Store Locator and Task Sync | Mange tasks are two Shopify apps serving drastically different purposes, despite sharing the 'Selling in person' category. Stockist is a well-established solution for merchants with physical locations or dealers. Its strength lies in helping customers find these locations, increasing in-store sales, and providing location-based analytics. Stockist boasts a strong reputation, reflected in its high rating and numerous reviews. Task Sync, on the other hand, is a task management app aimed at improving internal business operations. It focuses on streamlining workflows, facilitating team collaboration, and ensuring deadlines are met. With no ratings or reviews, Task Sync is a new entrant with an unproven track record. The target audiences for each app are fundamentally different: Stockist caters to merchants needing a store locator, while Task Sync targets those needing task management.

Our Verdict
The choice between Stockist Store Locator and Task Sync is straightforward. If you have physical stores or dealers and want to make them easily discoverable to customers, Stockist is the clear winner. Its strong reputation and focus on store location functionality are invaluable.
Task Sync is for businesses that need to improve their internal task management and team collaboration. However, given its lack of reviews and unproven track record, merchants should proceed with caution and carefully evaluate whether it meets their specific needs compared to other established task management solutions. The lack of validation makes it a riskier choice.
