ST: Product & Collection Sort vs Supergrid Collections ‑ Depictfor Shopify (2026)
ST: Product & Collection Sort focuses on automating merchandising through data analytics and rule-based sorting. Its strength lies in its ability to leverage past order data, GA4 metrics, and a variety of product attributes (revenue, profit, tags, metafields, etc.) to dynamically optimize collections. This positions it as a powerful tool for merchants seeking to increase revenue and reduce manual merchandising efforts through data-driven decisions. Supergrid Collections ‑ Depict emphasizes visual merchandising and creating engaging shopper experiences. It focuses on drag-and-drop editing, embedding visual content like images and videos, and highlighting different product images per collection. Depict is targeted toward merchants who prioritize visual appeal and creating a curated lookbook-style shopping experience to boost conversion and engagement. While it also offers AI sorting rules, its strength lies in its visual storytelling capabilities and ease of use, particularly for merchants who are less data-driven and more visually oriented.
