Singleton | Verify Customers vs Wholesale Discount Pro B2B Appfor Shopify (2026)
Singleton | Verify Customers and Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App both aim to control pricing and customer access on Shopify stores, but they cater to distinct merchant needs. Singleton | Verify Customers focuses on gated access and customer verification for all users, allowing merchants to control who sees prices and can purchase products. This positions it as a tool for businesses requiring strict customer vetting processes, such as those selling specialized products or services. In contrast, Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App, based on its name and Shopify categories, concentrates on wholesale pricing and discount structures, presumably targeting B2B merchants wanting to offer differentiated pricing to business customers. This suggests a focus on volume-based discounts and potentially advanced pricing rules. The fundamental difference lies in their primary function. Singleton | Verify Customers is about **controlling access** based on approval, while Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App likely centers on **adjusting pricing** for different customer segments. The significantly higher number of reviews for Singleton | Verify Customers suggests broader adoption and potentially a longer market presence, although the five-star rating for both suggests similar satisfaction levels among their respective user bases. Without more details about Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App's features, its value proposition is more opaque, but its focus is clearly on B2B sales and pricing.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants requiring strict control over who can access their products and prices, Singleton | Verify Customers is the clear choice. Its focus on customer verification and gated access is specifically designed for this purpose. This is ideal for businesses selling exclusive, high-value, or regulated products.
On the other hand, if a merchant primarily focuses on B2B sales and needs to implement complex wholesale pricing structures and discounts, Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App is likely a better fit. However, with only 8 reviews and a lack of detailed feature descriptions, its capabilities are less clear. Merchants should seek more information about Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App's functionality before making a decision. If a business needs both gated access *and* wholesale pricing, they will likely need to evaluate other apps or consider a solution that combines the functionalities of both.
Common Questions
Which app is better for controlling access to specific products?
Singleton | Verify Customers is designed specifically to control which customers have access to see prices and 'add to cart' buttons. Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App does not advertise such capabilities.

Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the descriptions, it's difficult to say definitively. Singleton | Verify Customers requires creating custom registration forms and approval workflows. Wholesale Discount Pro B2B App likely involves setting up pricing rules and discount tiers. The complexity depends on the specific needs of the merchant.
What kind of customer support do the apps offer?
