Our Verdict
Choosing between Sidr and Xero, QuickBooks or MYOB Sync depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If the primary concern is automating US sales tax compliance, including nexus tracking, registration, reporting, and filing, then Sidr ‑ Sales Tax Automation is the clear winner. The higher rating and significantly more reviews also suggest a more mature and well-received product in its specific niche. However, if the goal is to seamlessly integrate Shopify data with existing Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB accounting systems for better overall financial management, then Xero, QuickBooks or MYOB Sync is the suitable choice. Merchants might eventually need both apps, but should prioritize based on their immediate pain points: compliance versus general accounting efficiency.
