Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a strong mobile app presence with direct engagement through push notifications, Shoppy - Mobile App Builder could be a worthwhile investment. However, with significantly fewer reviews, its long-term reliability and feature roadmap are less certain. Swish (formerly Wishlist King) is the better choice for merchants prioritizing data-driven customer engagement, personalized marketing automation via wishlists, and integration with established marketing platforms. Its larger user base suggests a more mature and reliable product, and the free setup service makes it easier to get started. Ultimately, the best choice depends on your specific business needs and marketing strategy.
If your primary goal is to build a native mobile app experience and you are comfortable with the potential risks of a relatively new app, Shoppy could be a fit. If you prioritize wishlist functionality, personalized marketing, and a proven track record, Swish is the stronger option, particularly given its integration with established marketing tools like Klaviyo.
