Shopify Search & Discovery vs Zoorix: Bundles & Cross Sellfor Shopify (2026)
Shopify Search & Discovery and Zoorix: Bundles & Cross Sell both aim to increase sales for Shopify merchants, but they approach this goal from different angles. Shopify Search & Discovery focuses on improving the customer's on-site search and product discovery experience by enhancing search relevance, filtering, and product recommendations. It aims to help customers find the right products faster, leading to increased conversion rates and average order value. The primary distinction lies in their core functionality. Shopify Search & Discovery provides tools to optimize the customer's journey in finding products within the store, using features like synonym groups and product boosts. Zoorix focuses on maximizing the order value once the customer is already viewing a product or has items in their cart, using features like volume discounts and AI-powered cross-selling. Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with poor on-site search results and low product discoverability, Shopify Search & Discovery is the clear winner, especially given its free cost. It's ideal for stores with a large inventory where customers have difficulty finding what they need. However, if the primary goal is to increase average order value by incentivizing larger purchases and suggesting complementary products, Zoorix: Bundles & Cross Sell is the better choice. It's well-suited for stores with a diverse product catalog where strategic bundling and cross-selling opportunities can significantly boost sales. While Zoorix has a higher rating, consider Shopify Search & Discovery's free status and ability to improve product findability for ALL customers.
