Shopify Order Printer vs Vify Order Printer PDF Invoicefor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between Shopify Order Printer and Vify Order Printer PDF Invoice face a clear trade-off between cost (Shopify Order Printer being free) and features/reliability. Shopify Order Printer focuses on basic, customizable document creation (pick lists, packing slips, invoices) using HTML, CSS, and Liquid. Its strength lies in offering a free solution for merchants comfortable with code-based customization. However, the low rating suggests issues with reliability or ease of use. It is geared towards simple order fulfillment documentation. Customizing POS printer receipts are not supported which is a major drawback for brick and mortar stores. Print in bulk only goes up to 50 orders without accessing the app. Vify Order Printer PDF Invoice, on the other hand, is a feature-rich invoicing and order printing solution with a significantly higher rating, indicating greater user satisfaction. It provides automated invoice delivery, multi-language/currency support, B2B invoice features (VAT capture), and support for European e-invoicing standards. Vify Order Printer is positioned for merchants needing advanced invoicing features, especially those dealing with B2B transactions or requiring regulatory compliance. It offers nearly 24/7 support, which appeals to growing stores of all sizes that cannot afford prolonged downtime or require guidance. It focuses on professional PDF invoices.

Our Verdict
For merchants on a tight budget with coding skills who need basic order documentation, Shopify Order Printer remains a viable, free option, assuming the low rating doesn't reflect persistent issues. If cost is a major concern and you are happy to code, this could work for you. However, for businesses requiring robust invoicing, automation, B2B support, regulatory compliance, and reliable support, Vify Order Printer PDF Invoice is the clear choice. The higher rating and feature set justify the likely cost, especially for growing stores prioritizing efficient and professional invoice management. Vify is more suitable for business who need advanced PDF invoice customization and automation, and cannot afford the time to code or be on call to fix issues.
