Shopify Launch Check vs Zigpoll Customer Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
Shopify Launch Check and Zigpoll Customer Surveys, while both operating within the Shopify 'Operations' category, serve vastly different purposes. Shopify Launch Check, based on its name, likely aims to help merchants ensure their Shopify store is optimized before launch. With only one review, little else can be said about its feature set or reliability. Conversely, Zigpoll Customer Surveys is a well-established survey platform focused on gathering customer feedback across multiple touchpoints, including post-purchase, pre-purchase, and abandoned checkout scenarios. It boasts AI analytics to derive actionable insights from zero-party data, emphasizing a data-driven approach to business optimization. Zigpoll provides a comprehensive suite of survey tools, extending from on-site surveys to email and SMS outreach. Its focus on customization, translation for multilingual audiences, and seamless integration with Shopify and marketing tools highlight its ambition to be a central hub for understanding customer behavior. The contrasting scale of user feedback (1 review for Launch Check vs. 417 for Zigpoll) underscores the significant difference in market adoption and the amount of available social proof. The key differentiator lies in their core function: Launch Check focuses on pre-launch optimization (likely, although unconfirmed), while Zigpoll centers around ongoing customer feedback collection and analysis.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a robust solution to actively gather and analyze customer feedback across various touchpoints, Zigpoll Customer Surveys is the clear choice. Its established user base, comprehensive feature set including AI analytics and multi-channel support, and high number of reviews provide a higher level of confidence. The app's focus on data-driven optimization makes it suitable for businesses looking to fine-tune their strategies based on real customer insights.
Shopify Launch Check, with its limited reviews and lack of detailed information, remains an unknown entity. While it may offer value for new stores preparing for launch, the lack of concrete information makes it difficult to recommend over the established and well-reviewed Zigpoll, unless a specific pre-launch checklist functionality is explicitly required, and cannot be found elsewhere. Given that Zigpoll mentions compatibility with Shopify's Order Status and Thank You Page Checkout Extensions, Launch Check would need to provide a niche feature set not already served by Zigpoll and its integrations.
