Shift Win: POS Staff KPIs vs Stockist Store Locatorfor Shopify (2026)
Shift Win: POS Staff KPIs and Stockist Store Locator are both 5-star rated Shopify apps, but they serve vastly different purposes. Shift Win focuses on improving in-store retail performance by enabling merchants to track staff KPIs, set goals, and gamify the sales process. Its primary strength lies in motivating employees and increasing sales through competition and rewards. This app helps customers find physical store locations, driving foot traffic and improving brand trust. The core difference lies in their target audience: Shift Win caters to merchants with brick-and-mortar stores who want to optimize their staff's performance, while Stockist is ideal for merchants with multiple locations or retailers who want to make it easy for customers to find their products in physical stores. One focuses on internal performance management, the other on external customer acquisition. Both apps contribute to selling in person, but through different means, and it's important to choose the app based on what is needed to grow revenue.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with boosting sales through employee motivation and performance management, Shift Win: POS Staff KPIs is the clear choice, assuming the lack of reviews is due to it being new. However, the single review makes it riskier. Stockist Store Locator is the superior option for businesses aiming to enhance customer experience, drive in-store traffic, and make their products easily accessible to customers through a user-friendly store locator.
Ultimately, the choice between the two apps depends on the merchant's specific needs and priorities. If driving sales from in-store shoppers is critical then Stockist would be a benefit by leading them into the store, then improving staff KPIs to turn them into sales through Shift Win: POS Staff KPIs could complement it well.
