Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking a broad SEO solution encompassing meta tags, alt text, structured data, and backlink management, 'Sherpas: Smart SEO' appears to be the stronger choice, backed by a perfect rating and a significant number of positive reviews. Its AI integration for meta tag generation is a significant advantage. However, if the primary concern is page speed optimization, particularly fixing issues caused by apps and themes, 'Thunder Page Speed Optimizer' is a viable alternative. It’s important to note the difference in review counts – Sherpas has significantly more, suggesting greater market adoption or longer market presence. For merchants with slower sites, integrating *both* might be the optimal strategy, with Thunder handling speed and Sherpas handling other SEO aspects.
