seQura On‑Site Messaging vs Tence Add‑Onsfor Shopify (2026)
seQura On‑Site Messaging and Tence Add‑Ons both aim to enhance the Shopify store experience, but they cater to different needs. seQura On‑Site Messaging focuses specifically on promoting the seQura payment solution, aiming to increase conversion and repeat purchases by highlighting flexible payment options. It emphasizes ease of use with a visual editor for on-site messaging. Tence Add-Ons, on the other hand, provides a broader suite of theme enhancements, including features like a smart top bar, installment information display, and improved search functionality. Its main selling point is that it adds features as small apps that integrate seamlessly without modifying the theme's core files. The key difference lies in their focus. seQura is a dedicated tool for merchants already using or planning to use seQura payment solutions, offering targeted messaging to drive sales through that specific payment method. Tence Add-Ons is a more general-purpose tool, suitable for merchants looking to add a variety of features to their store without extensive coding. While both apps share the 'Payments' category due to their potential impact on payment conversions, they address this aspect differently – one focusing on a specific payment provider, the other on general enhancements that might indirectly improve payment processes.

Our Verdict
If you are a merchant actively using or planning to use seQura, seQura On‑Site Messaging is the clear choice. It offers a straightforward way to promote seQura's flexible payment options and increase sales. The visual editor makes it easy to customize messages without needing coding skills.
For merchants who are not focused on seQura but want to improve their store's overall functionality and user experience with features like a smart top bar and enhanced search, Tence Add-Ons is the better option. Its promise of fast loading times and non-invasive integration are appealing. However, the significantly lower number of reviews should be considered, indicating less proven reliability.
