Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with improving their store's technical SEO, particularly site speed and search engine rankings, SEO Speed Image Optimizer is the clear choice. Its automated image compression, alt text optimization, and bulk editing features streamline the process of ensuring images are optimized for search engines and load quickly.
However, if a merchant is focused on leveraging social media, building customer trust through social proof, and increasing sales through visual content, Social Photos - Instagram UGC is the more suitable option. Its ability to create shoppable galleries from Instagram posts and customer uploads offers a direct path to converting social media engagement into sales.
