Sclips Shoppable Videos Reels vs Sunny ‑ Blog Comment Managerfor Shopify (2026)
Sclips Shoppable Videos Reels and Sunny ‑ Blog Comment Manager, while both falling under the 'Content' category in the Shopify app store, cater to vastly different needs and target audiences. Sclips focuses on enhancing the visual shopping experience through shoppable video content sourced from platforms like TikTok and Instagram. It aims to boost engagement, conversion rates, and sales by allowing merchants to showcase products in action and provide an immersive user experience. Its core strength lies in its aesthetic design, speed optimization, and deep analytics capabilities tailored for video commerce. Sunny, conversely, addresses the pain points associated with managing blog comments directly within the Shopify admin interface. It streamlines the moderation process by enabling merchants to manage, approve, and reply to comments directly from their email inbox. This convenience is coupled with a proprietary spam blocker, ensuring that merchants primarily engage with genuine customer feedback. Sunny's value proposition centers around simplifying blog comment management to foster customer engagement and improve SEO. The significant difference in ratings and number of reviews also suggests a wider user base and perhaps more established success with Sclips.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing visually rich shopping experiences, increased engagement through video content, and driving sales via shoppable reels, Sclips Shoppable Videos Reels is the superior choice. Its focus on aesthetics, speed, and analytics positions it well for brands looking to invest in video commerce. The much higher rating and number of reviews also point to better user satisfaction.
However, if the primary concern is managing a blog and facilitating community interaction through comments, Sunny ‑ Blog Comment Manager offers a streamlined solution. While its rating is lower and review count is smaller, the email-based management and spam blocker provide a targeted benefit for merchants who value efficient blog administration.
