Scala Parcelamento Installment vs Section Star: Theme Sectionsfor Shopify (2026)
Scala Parcelamento Installment and Section Star: Theme Sections both aim to enhance Shopify stores, but they address very different needs. Scala Parcelamento Installment focuses specifically on displaying Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) installment options directly beneath product prices. Its strength lies in its ease of integration with various payment processors and its ability to increase Average Order Value (AOV) by highlighting payment flexibility. It targets merchants who want to increase sales by offering BNPL options but don't want to handle transaction processing within the app itself. Section Star, on the other hand, is a general-purpose theme section enhancement tool. It offers a library of pre-designed sections to improve store design without coding, focusing on visual appeal and overall customer experience. The key difference lies in their core functionality. Scala addresses payment flexibility and conversion optimization through financial incentives. Section Star prioritizes aesthetic improvements and provides tools to create visually appealing storefronts. Scala Parcelamento Installment automates the display of installment options with compatibility across various themes and currencies, while Section Star offers a range of customizable design elements for enhancing the overall look and feel of the store. Consequently, merchants must identify their primary needs - enhanced payment transparency or improved design functionality - to choose the appropriate app.

Our Verdict
If a merchant's priority is to prominently display installment options to encourage sales via BNPL, Scala Parcelamento Installment is the clear choice. Its automatic calculation and display, compatibility with various currencies, and focus on conversion rate optimization make it a powerful tool for boosting AOV. However, if a merchant's focus is on overall store design and visual appeal, and they are looking for ready-to-go sections to enhance their store's look without coding, Section Star: Theme Sections is the better option. Its deep customization options and focus on visual impact provide a strong foundation for creating a visually appealing online store. For merchants considering both, prioritize based on business goals: increased AOV through payment options versus increased engagement through enhanced design.
