Sales Motivator ‑ Free Gifts vs WEBI ‑ LeadForm Order Form CODfor Shopify (2026)
Sales Motivator ‑ Free Gifts and WEBI ‑ LeadForm Order Form COD both aim to increase sales through upsell and bundle strategies, but they approach this goal in fundamentally different ways. Sales Motivator focuses specifically on offering free gifts as incentives to increase Average Order Value (AOV) and conversion rates. It is a dedicated app for creating gift-with-purchase (GWP) and buy-one-get-one (BOGO) offers. WEBI, on the other hand, provides a fully customizable Cash on Delivery (COD) order form with integrated features beyond just upsells, including Google Sheets synchronization, pixel tracking, abandoned order recovery, and fraud prevention. WEBI is clearly targeting merchants who rely heavily on COD payment methods and need a comprehensive order management and marketing platform. Sales Motivator, conversely, appeals to a broader range of merchants who want to use the psychological appeal of free gifts to boost sales, regardless of their payment methods. The apps also differ greatly in features, Sales Motivator with advanced gift offer conditions like specific product combinations, and WEBI with integrations for pixels, spreadsheets, fraud prevention, and abandoned cart recovery.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on increasing AOV across their entire store by leveraging the perceived value of free gifts, Sales Motivator ‑ Free Gifts is the better choice. Its specialized focus allows for granular control over gift offers and seamless integration with Shopify's discounting system.
However, if a significant portion of a merchant's business relies on Cash on Delivery and they require a comprehensive solution for order management, marketing analytics, and fraud prevention, then WEBI ‑ LeadForm Order Form COD is the superior option. While it also offers upsell capabilities, its strength lies in its end-to-end COD workflow solution.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Without user reviews explicitly stating, both aim for simplicity. Sales Motivator's core function is narrower, potentially making initial setup faster. WEBI includes wider functionality for pixel implementation and integration and may require more setup time due to its greater scope.
Which app is better for tracking marketing ROI?
WEBI is better for tracking marketing ROI because it facilitates direct installation of multiple marketing pixels (Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat). Sales Motivator does not explicitly mention pixel tracking capabilities.
Does either app help prevent fraudulent orders?
WEBI specifically mentions 'fraud prevention (fake orders)' as a feature. Sales Motivator does not.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but with careful consideration. The upsell features might overlap, potentially confusing the customer. If the goal is to offer free gifts on COD orders, integrating Sales Motivator with a store using WEBI's COD form could be beneficial, but careful configuration would be vital to avoid conflicts.
Which app offers more advanced customization?
WEBI offers more broad advanced customization via their entire checkout form. Sales Motivator is more specific to visual design and conditions of the free gift offers.
