Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing detailed customization, particularly those with a large inventory of locations and a need for brand alignment, RP ProMap ‑ Store Locator is likely the better choice. The availability of 24/7 live support for installation provides extra reassurance. However, for businesses focused on seamless user experience, especially those anticipating high traffic, SC Store Locator Map's emphasis on performance, Google Autocomplete, and map templates might be more beneficial. Its 'Where to Buy' feature is also a valuable asset for driving conversions.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on individual business needs. If customization and dedicated support are paramount, go for RP ProMap. If prioritizing performance, user experience, and quick launch, SC Store Locator Map is more suitable. In 2026, a free trial period will also be crucial to help merchants test before investing.
