Our Verdict
Ribbon | Gifting is well-suited for merchants looking to acquire new customers and increase their average order value (AOV) through a novel product gifting experience. Its strength lies in offering specific products as gifts and driving upsells during redemption. Unlimity Gift Cards is a better fit for merchants seeking a straightforward and customizable digital gift card solution. It's ideal for those who want to quickly implement a gift card program with personalized designs and messages. Given the lack of reviews for Unlimity, Ribbon is the safer choice in 2026, assuming reviews are an accurate indication of user experience. However, if ease of implementation of a traditional gift card is the sole criterion, Unlimity might be worth exploring once it has established a user base and positive reviews.
