Request Quote ‑ Opal Infotech vs Singleton | Advanced Discountsfor Shopify (2026)
Request Quote ‑ Opal Infotech and Singleton | Advanced Discounts, while both categorized under 'Pricing' in the Shopify app store, address distinct merchant needs. Request Quote focuses on facilitating custom quotes and bulk inquiries, primarily targeting B2B businesses requiring direct communication and negotiation before a sale. It allows merchants to add a "Get Quote" button to product pages, streamlining the request process and managing inquiries through a dedicated admin interface. Singleton | Advanced Discounts, on the other hand, is geared towards increasing sales volume through automated or code-based discounts, benefiting merchants who want to incentivize purchases and improve conversion rates, appealing to both B2C and B2B merchants. The primary distinction lies in their core function: Request Quote enables quote management and communication for custom pricing, whereas Singleton | Advanced Discounts automates the application of discounts to encourage purchases. While both could influence pricing strategy, they serve vastly different purposes. Request Quote caters to merchants who deal with personalized orders and negotiable pricing, while Singleton | Advanced Discounts aims to boost sales through universally or selectively applied discounts. A key factor differentiating the apps is the lack of reviews for Request Quote, suggesting it might be a newer app or one with limited adoption, contrasting with Singleton's positive ratings and significant number of reviews.

Our Verdict
For merchants dealing with custom orders, bulk requests, and B2B clients requiring personalized pricing, Request Quote ‑ Opal Infotech addresses a crucial need by enabling quote management. However, the lack of reviews makes it a riskier choice. If you need robust discount functionality, proven effectiveness, and a user-friendly interface as indicated by its high rating, Singleton | Advanced Discounts is the superior option.
For businesses focusing on general sales growth and driving purchases through promotions, Singleton | Advanced Discounts is the clear recommendation. Until Request Quote ‑ Opal Infotech establishes a positive reputation and demonstrates reliable performance, it is best suited for merchants comfortable with experimenting with new, unproven apps and have a very specific need for quote management.
