Releasit Cash on Delivery COD vs Zigpoll Customer Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
Releasit Cash on Delivery COD and Zigpoll Customer Surveys are Shopify apps that fall under the 'Operations' category, but they cater to fundamentally different business needs. Releasit COD is designed to optimize and secure cash-on-delivery transactions, focusing on fraud prevention, RTO reduction, and payment management. It targets merchants who heavily rely on COD and face challenges like fake orders and logistical issues. Zigpoll, on the other hand, is a customer feedback tool that enables merchants to gather insights through surveys at various touchpoints, optimizing marketing spend, conversion rates, and overall business strategy. The key difference lies in their functionality: Releasit streamlines COD operations, mitigating risks associated with it, while Zigpoll enhances customer understanding through data collection and analysis. Releasit's strength is in conditional rules, payment tracking, and WhatsApp OTP verification. Zigpoll's strengths are its customizable survey creation, advanced analytics, and integration with Shopify's ecosystem. Therefore, the choice depends on whether a merchant's priority is to improve COD efficiency or to collect customer data and optimize business decisions using that data.

Our Verdict
For merchants heavily reliant on Cash on Delivery (COD) and struggling with high Return-to-Origin (RTO) rates, fraudulent orders, or inefficient payment processes, Releasit Cash on Delivery COD is the clear choice. Its features specifically address these pain points by adding fees and conditional rules, collecting partial payments, and using WhatsApp OTP for verification.
However, if the priority is understanding customer behavior, gathering feedback, and using data-driven insights to improve marketing strategies, website performance, and overall customer experience, Zigpoll Customer Surveys is the superior option. Its survey creation tools, integration with Shopify, and AI analytics provide the resources needed to collect and analyze customer feedback effectively. While both apps fall under 'Operations,' they solve very different problems for very different types of Shopify merchants.
