Our Verdict
If your primary concern is identifying and fixing broken links to improve SEO and user experience, Redirect Hero is the clear choice due to its specific focus. Its high rating and simplicity suggest it's effective at its core function. Shoplift is the superior option for merchants who are proactively investing in CRO and want to systematically experiment to improve their store's performance. The 'Lift Assist' feature indicates a focus on making A/B testing accessible, but it will still require a greater time investment and strategic understanding than Redirect Hero.
Ultimately, both apps address different aspects of site optimization. Many stores could benefit from both - Redirect Hero for basic site maintenance and Shoplift for continuous improvement of sales conversion.
