PushEngage Web Push & WhatsApp vs RocketPush: WhatsApp, Web Pushfor Shopify (2026)
Both PushEngage Web Push & WhatsApp and RocketPush: WhatsApp, Web Push apps aim to enhance customer engagement through web push notifications and WhatsApp integration on Shopify. PushEngage positions itself as a comprehensive multichannel engagement platform, emphasizing campaign automation and personalized experiences. RocketPush, given the limited information, seems to focus on core web push and WhatsApp functionalities. PushEngage particularly highlights abandoned cart recovery, order & shipping alerts, and back-in-stock notifications as its key differentiators. Their common goal is helping merchants recover lost sales and improve customer communication. The target audience for PushEngage appears broader, potentially including larger stores needing dedicated support, while RocketPush's description is less specific about its ideal customer profile. Based on the limited data, PushEngage offers a wider array of features for merchants looking for comprehensive customer engagement strategies, going beyond basic notifications with click-to-chat functionality and personalized campaigns. The presence of dedicated Shopify Plus support suggests it targets businesses scaling significantly. RocketPush, on the other hand, may be suitable for merchants prioritizing core functionality and a simpler implementation process, even if the finer details are missing. The availability of more campaign types and the inclusion of more automation capabilities in PushEngage are likely to drive stronger results for merchants looking for a comprehensive customer engagement strategy.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants needing comprehensive web push and WhatsApp marketing, automated recovery tools, and personalized campaign options, PushEngage Web Push & WhatsApp is the stronger choice. Its features, like abandoned cart recovery, order and shipping alerts, and dedicated Shopify Plus support, cater to growing and larger businesses. Its wider scope of features means the merchant will likely be more involved in the campaign design process.
RocketPush: WhatsApp, Web Push may be suitable for smaller merchants or those just starting with push notifications and WhatsApp marketing, assuming its interface is simpler and its pricing is more competitive. However, the lack of detailed information on its features makes it difficult to provide a definitive recommendation without further data. For businesses that need only the basics of web push and WhatsApp engagement, RocketPush is probably sufficient.
