Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on recovering abandoned carts and directly engaging website visitors without requiring initial contact information, PushAlert - Push Notifications is the better choice. Its automated features and direct-to-browser approach offer a straightforward way to boost conversions. Given the rating and review information, it also appears to be a more reliable option currently. However, if a merchant has a highly engaged social media following on Facebook and Instagram and wants to leverage the higher engagement rates of direct messaging for promotional offers, SocialSender Facebook DMs could be a viable option, *if* they can generate positive reviews over time to confirm its usability and value. Due to the lack of reviews for SocialSender, it's currently a riskier choice and requires further investigation before committing to it.
