PTT: POS Time Tracker vs WhatsApp Chat Button by AZDigifor Shopify (2026)
PTT: POS Time Tracker and WhatsApp Chat Button by AZDigi cater to vastly different needs of Shopify merchants in 2026, despite both being listed under 'Selling in person' and 'Retail' categories. PTT: POS Time Tracker focuses on internal operational efficiency, offering a staff time-tracking solution tightly integrated with Shopify POS. Its strength lies in simplifying time management for brick-and-mortar retailers with multiple locations and in-store staff, eliminating the need for external time-tracking systems. The WhatsApp Chat Button by AZDigi, on the other hand, is geared towards improving customer communication and engagement, providing a direct channel for customers to reach out via WhatsApp. The key difference is their core functionality. Our Verdict
For retailers struggling to manage staff hours across multiple locations and seeking a streamlined time-tracking solution that integrates directly with their existing Shopify POS system, PTT: POS Time Tracker is the clear choice. Its focus on internal operations and simplified reporting makes it ideal for managing payroll and attendance. However, the small number of reviews should be a consideration.
The WhatsApp Chat Button by AZDigi is suitable for businesses that prioritize immediate customer communication and engagement. If quick responses to customer inquiries and personalized support are essential to your sales strategy, this app could be beneficial. That being said, the single review is a significant concern. Carefully consider whether the potential benefits outweigh the lack of a proven track record. If a merchant is choosing only one app in 2026 based on the data, PTT: POS Time Tracker has more reviews to make a decision on.
