Our Verdict
SEO Speed Image Optimizer is the stronger recommendation for the majority of Shopify merchants in 2026, given its significantly higher number of reviews and the critical importance of image optimization for both speed and SEO. Its features directly address common pain points like large image sizes and lack of alt text. Promer AI ‑ SEO Blog Post could be valuable for merchants specifically struggling with content creation, but the extremely low number of reviews makes it difficult to assess its true efficacy and reliability. Until Promer AI garners more reviews and demonstrates proven value, SEO Speed Image Optimizer presents the safer and more comprehensive solution for general SEO improvement.
