PricePitch: Offers & Close vs YouQuote: Request a Quote Formfor Shopify (2026)
PricePitch: Offers & Close and YouQuote: Request a Quote Form are both Shopify apps that allow merchants to offer custom pricing options to their customers. However, they differ significantly in their approach. PricePitch emphasizes a dynamic, negotiation-based pricing model where customers actively pitch their desired price. This caters to merchants seeking to engage directly with customers on price and are comfortable with negotiation as part of the sales process. YouQuote, on the other hand, focuses on providing a request-a-quote form, a more traditional approach best suited for complex products or services where pricing requires individual assessment.

Our Verdict
While both apps aim to provide custom pricing solutions, they cater to different needs. PricePitch is ideal for merchants selling products where price negotiation is common or desirable, allowing for dynamic engagement and automated deal closure. The ability to hide standard checkout buttons pushes customers towards the pitch process. YouQuote, with significantly more reviews suggesting greater market adoption, is a better choice for merchants selling complex or customizable products or services where a formal quote is necessary before a sale. Given the limited review data on PricePitch as of 2026, potential users should proceed with caution and consider factors like ease of setup and customer support responsiveness.
Common Questions
Which app is better for high-volume sales?
PricePitch's auto-approve thresholds might be better suited for high-volume if you can define clear, automated rules. Without data about YouQuote's automation capabilities, we can't compare equally. However, you would need enough data to set automations correctly.
Which app offers more customization options?
PricePitch explicitly mentions customizable messaging and style of the pitch interface. YouQuote does not provide specific customization options, so we can assume PricePitch offers more control over the customer-facing interface.
Which app is easier to set up?
Based solely on the descriptions, it's difficult to definitively say which app is easier to set up. More reviews suggests YouQuote has better market fit, meaning set up is well established. Further research or trials are needed to evaluate the setup process of both apps.
Is PricePitch riskier to implement, given its limited reviews?
Yes. The significantly lower number of reviews for PricePitch suggests a higher risk. Potential users should carefully consider this and perhaps contact the developer for a demo or extended trial before committing.
Which app focuses more on lead generation?
Both apps indirectly contribute to lead generation by engaging potential customers. However, PricePitch explicitly mentions collecting emails, making it slightly better suited for lead generation purposes beyond just facilitating the sale.
