PricePitch: Offers & Close vs Quick Quotefor Shopify (2026)
Both PricePitch: Offers & Close and Quick Quote aim to provide flexible pricing solutions for Shopify merchants in 2026, but they approach the problem from different angles. PricePitch focuses on enabling dynamic pricing where customers can actively propose a price, giving merchants control to accept, decline, or counter. This approach encourages direct customer engagement and provides the ability to automate the approval process using predefined rules. This makes it potentially ideal for high-volume stores where efficient price negotiation is vital. Quick Quote offers a more traditional quote request system, initiated from the standard Shopify cart. Customers request a quote, which the merchant then edits and sends back, including discount pricing if applicable. The system facilitates back-and-forth communication through email and quote comments. This makes it more suited for merchants who sell complex products, custom orders, or those targeting a customer base that is comfortable with a more personalized and potentially slower sales process. While both apps have received perfect ratings, Quick Quote boasts a significantly larger number of reviews (56) compared to PricePitch (2), suggesting a more established user base and potentially wider adoption. The hidden add-to-cart and checkout button feature on PricePitch makes it a more radical solution.

Our Verdict
If your Shopify store thrives on fast-paced sales and you want to empower customers to drive pricing through negotiation, PricePitch: Offers & Close could be the better option. The auto-approve threshold offers a significant time-saving automation for high-volume scenarios, though the limited number of reviews is a consideration. However, be aware that hiding the standard add-to-cart and checkout buttons represents a significant change to the customer experience.
For merchants offering complex products, custom orders, or dealing with B2B clients, Quick Quote likely provides a more familiar and controlled process. The ability to create and revise quotes, communicate with customers, and track quote status provides a robust solution for handling individualized pricing needs. The higher number of reviews lends more confidence to its reliability and usability. In short, PricePitch favors an active, customer-driven pricing model, while Quick Quote emphasizes a more structured and merchant-controlled quoting process.
Common Questions
Which app is better for handling a large volume of price inquiries?
PricePitch, with its auto-approve thresholds, would likely be better equipped to handle a high volume of price pitches automatically, reducing manual review time. Quick Quote requires more manual intervention for each request.
Does either app integrate with other pricing or discount apps?
Neither app description explicitly mentions integrations with other pricing or discount apps. You would need to consult with the app developers directly for definitive information.
Which app offers more flexibility in customizing the appearance of the price negotiation process?
PricePitch allows customization of the messaging and style of the pitch interface, offering more control over branding the negotiation experience. Quick Quote appears to offer less customization options.
Is either app suitable for wholesale pricing?
Quick Quote, with its quote request and discount capabilities, is better suited for handling wholesale pricing inquiries as it allows for manual price adjustments and customized offers for bulk orders. PricePitch's customer driven pricing might lead to prices too low for a wholesale offer.
Which app would be easier for customers to use?
Quick Quote likely provides a more intuitive experience for customers, as it extends from the familiar Shopify cart. PricePitch's approach of hiding the normal checkout could confuse some customers.
