PricePanda ‑ Price Per Unit vs Singleton | Verify Customersfor Shopify (2026)
PricePanda ‑ Price Per Unit and Singleton | Verify Customers are both 5-star rated Shopify apps within the Pricing category, but they address completely different merchant needs. PricePanda focuses on increasing transparency and sales for wholesale businesses by enabling the display of price per unit on product and collection pages. It caters to merchants selling goods in bulk, sets, or variable measurements, such as groceries, fabrics, or hardware. Its strength lies in its ease of use (no-code) and automated unit price display, aiming to build trust and improve customer understanding of pricing. Singleton | Verify Customers, on the other hand, prioritizes customer control and verification. It allows merchants to selectively grant access to pricing and add-to-cart functionalities, ideal for stores requiring customer validation due to business reasons, wholesale only operations, or membership programs. Its core value proposition revolves around gating access based on approval, potentially protecting pricing from unauthorized users. While PricePanda is about sales maximization through pricing clarity, Singleton emphasizes access control and exclusivity.

Our Verdict
Choosing between PricePanda and Singleton depends entirely on the specific business requirements. PricePanda is the superior choice for merchants selling wholesale products or goods in variable quantities who want to improve transparency and drive sales through clear unit pricing. Its no-code interface makes it easy to set up and manage.
Singleton is the preferred option for businesses that require strict control over who can access pricing and purchase products. This is particularly useful for B2B stores, membership-based businesses, or companies needing to validate customers for legal or regulatory reasons. While it requires some setup to customize registration forms and manage approvals, it offers a valuable layer of security and exclusivity.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
PricePanda is generally easier to set up due to its no-code nature. Singleton requires configuring custom registration forms and managing customer approvals, making it more involved.
Can both apps be used together?
While technically possible, it might be redundant. If you need customer verification, Singleton alone might suffice. PricePanda's unit pricing display becomes relevant *after* a customer is verified by Singleton, assuming the verified customer then needs to see unit prices clearly.
Does PricePanda handle different currencies?
The provided description doesn't mention currency support. Further investigation into the app's documentation is needed.
Does Singleton offer bulk approval of customers?
The description mentions approval based on customer tags, implying a form of bulk action is possible but not explicitly stated.
Are there any subscription costs for either app?
The app descriptions do not include any information on pricing or subscription models. Further research is necessary to determine their cost structure.
