Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a comprehensive solution with pre-order capabilities, back-in-stock alerts, and readily available 24/7 human support, Preorder, Back in stock Duck is the stronger choice, despite lacking explicit Shopify Flow integration. Its higher number of reviews also suggests greater reliability and wider adoption.
However, if a merchant prioritizes deep customization of email notifications via Shopify Flow and is primarily concerned with managing waitlists for back-in-stock or coming-soon items, Restock Alert & Waitlist ‑Mini is a suitable option. The lower review count might indicate a newer app or a more niche focus. Ultimately, the choice depends on the specific needs and technical expertise of the merchant.
