PowerUP Retail vs Ting ‑ Slack Notificationsfor Shopify (2026)
PowerUP Retail and Ting ‑ Slack Notifications are both Shopify apps operating in the 'Staff notifications' category, but they address vastly different needs. Our Verdict
The choice between PowerUP Retail and Ting ‑ Slack Notifications hinges entirely on a merchant's specific needs. If you operate a retail store with physical locations and need tools to manage internal operations, standardize processes, and train staff, PowerUP Retail *could* be a viable option. However, the lack of reviews and a 0/5 rating are significant red flags.
If, instead, you're looking for a simple way to stay informed about order activity and receive reports directly in your Slack channels, Ting ‑ Slack Notifications is the clear choice. The 5/5 rating and 13 reviews suggest a positive user experience. Given the lack of reviews and zero-star rating for PowerUP Retail, Ting ‑ Slack Notifications is the stronger recommendation, *assuming* both apps' features remain the same in 2026. Merchants should prioritize apps with demonstrated user satisfaction.
