PostCo Returns & Exchanges vs Wizship: Shipping protectionfor Shopify (2026)
PostCo Returns & Exchanges and Wizship: Shipping protection both fall under the 'Returns and warranty' category in the Shopify app store, but address different aspects. PostCo appears to be a comprehensive solution for managing returns and exchanges, hinted at by its name and implied by its high number of reviews, suggesting established functionality. Wizship, on the other hand, focuses specifically on shipping protection as an upsell, aiming to increase revenue and customer trust related to package delivery. Wizship emphasizes control over pricing and revenue, presenting itself as a tool for merchants to manage shipping-related liabilities and generate income. While both apps have a 5/5 rating, the stark difference in the number of reviews (79 for PostCo versus 1 for Wizship) indicates a significant difference in adoption and potentially maturity. PostCo likely targets merchants looking for streamlined returns and exchange processes to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Wizship, conversely, appeals to merchants who are comfortable managing their own shipping protection and are looking for a revenue-generating upsell with customizable placement within their store's theme. Wizship also seems to cater to merchants who prefer not to involve insurance companies for shipping protection, giving them more control over claim handling.

Our Verdict
PostCo Returns & Exchanges appears to be the better choice for merchants who prioritize a complete returns and exchange solution and value a well-established app with a substantial number of positive reviews. It likely offers a more hands-off approach to returns management.
Wizship: Shipping protection is more suitable for merchants who are comfortable managing shipping protection themselves and are looking for a flexible, revenue-generating upsell opportunity. The lack of reviews makes it a riskier choice, but the promise of complete control over pricing and claim handling might be attractive to certain merchants, particularly those with low damage claim rates.
Common Questions
Which app handles the actual shipping insurance for lost or damaged packages?
Wizship does NOT involve an insurance company, meaning the merchant likely handles claims themselves. PostCo's involvement in insurance isn't specified.
Which app is easier to set up?
Without more information, it's impossible to definitively say. Wizship emphasizes customizable app blocks, suggesting some technical configuration. PostCo's setup process is unknown.
Which app is more likely to increase customer satisfaction?
Both apps *aim* to increase customer satisfaction. PostCo aims to by simplifying returns. Wizship aims to by reassuring customers about their package's safety. Actual impact depends on implementation and individual customer experiences.
Is Wizship really 'shipping protection'? Or is it just an upsell?
Wizship positions itself as both. It offers an upsell that provides 'shipping protection,' but the merchant keeps all proceeds and handles claims. The value to the customer depends on the merchant's handling of those claims.
Given the review disparity, is Wizship safe to use?
The low review count for Wizship doesn't necessarily mean it's unsafe, but it does indicate it's less tested and potentially less mature than PostCo. Merchants should carefully consider this risk before installing.
