POS2B: Native POS B2B Pricing vs QodeVault QR Codes Generatorfor Shopify (2026)
POS2B: Native POS B2B Pricing and QodeVault QR Codes Generator address fundamentally different needs within a Shopify store's in-person sales strategy. POS2B focuses exclusively on enabling B2B pricing through Shopify Plus's B2B Catalogs within the POS system. Our Verdict
If you're a Shopify Plus merchant with B2B catalogs and need to apply those catalog prices in your physical store's POS system, POS2B is the obvious choice, despite the lack of reviews. However, the single review and limitation on order types should be noted before implementing. It directly addresses a specific need within the Shopify Plus ecosystem.
For the vast majority of Shopify merchants who aren't on Shopify Plus or don't have a specific B2B pricing requirement in their physical store, QodeVault offers a far more versatile and widely applicable solution. The positive reviews and broad functionality make it a safer and more valuable investment for general marketing and sales improvements by integrating the physical store with the online store.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the descriptions, QodeVault appears to offer a more user-friendly experience with its 'intuitive design interface.' POS2B's ease of use is not explicitly mentioned and depends heavily on familiarity with Shopify Plus's B2B catalog feature.
Can I track the ROI of my in-store marketing campaigns with these apps?
QodeVault explicitly offers dynamic QR codes with real-time tracking and scan analytics, allowing you to measure the effectiveness of your QR code-based campaigns. POS2B doesn't provide direct marketing ROI tracking; instead, it focuses on ensuring accurate pricing for B2B customers at the point of sale.
Which app requires a Shopify Plus subscription?
POS2B explicitly requires a Shopify Plus subscription to function, as it relies on the native B2B Catalogs feature available only to Plus merchants. QodeVault does not have this limitation and is accessible to all Shopify merchants.
Does QodeVault work in the POS system as well?
QodeVault is designed to integrate with the in-store experience by generating QR codes that can be displayed and scanned within the physical store. It doesn't directly modify the POS interface in the same way as POS2B, but the QR codes can direct customers to product pages or initiate checkouts.
Which app provides more features out of the box?
QodeVault seemingly provides more features out-of-the-box as it offers a wider range of functionalities including QR Code design and styling options, dynamic tracking, and analytics. POS2B focuses narrowly on applying B2B Catalog prices within the POS system.
