Our Verdict
For merchants seeking creative control and brand ownership through unique, customizable products, Podbase: Print on Demand is the stronger choice. Their emphasis on design tools, quick fulfillment in key markets, and higher profit margins caters to those willing to invest in design and marketing efforts. However, if a merchant prioritizes a completely hands-off approach to a specific niche (adult wellness) and needs discreet fulfillment, SexyLiving: Adult Dropshipping offers a more streamlined, albeit less customizable, solution. The lower number of reviews for SexyLiving should be considered, potentially indicating a smaller user base or newer app.
Common Questions
Which app offers more control over branding?
Podbase: Print on Demand provides greater control over branding as it focuses on custom-designed products. Merchants can upload their own designs, tailoring the products to their brand aesthetic. SexyLiving offers less branding flexibility as it focuses on pre-existing adult wellness products.
Which app is better for beginners?
Both apps claim to be easy to use, but SexyLiving might be slightly easier for beginners due to its focus on automated order processing and less emphasis on design. Podbase, while still user-friendly, requires more effort in product design.
Which app offers a faster fulfillment timeframe?
Podbase explicitly states 'Fast 24-hour printing with quick delivery to the USA and EU.' SexyLiving doesn't specify a fulfillment timeframe, so Podbase likely offers faster shipping within those regions.
Is either app suitable for selling products outside of their primary category?
No. Podbase is specifically designed for print-on-demand accessories, and SexyLiving is exclusively focused on adult wellness products. Merchants should choose the app that aligns with their product niche.
Which app has a larger user base?
Based on the number of reviews (71 for Podbase vs. 6 for SexyLiving), Podbase appears to have a significantly larger user base. This may reflect wider adoption or a longer presence in the Shopify app store.
