Our Verdict
Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero is likely better suited for merchants who want complete control over their checkout experience and need to tailor payment options to specific customer segments. The higher rating and significantly greater number of reviews suggest a more polished and widely adopted product, with a strong focus on conversion optimization. PayRules: Hide Payment Methods seems to be a more basic solution, best for merchants who primarily need to hide specific payment methods without the complexities of sorting or renaming. The lack of mention for customer segments in the description also suggests the customer base is not as advanced. The existence of explicit language support can also be valuable for some merchants who may be hesitant to use apps without guaranteed multilingual support.
