Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with maximizing the value of each order and recovering abandoned carts through various sales tactics, Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawer is the better choice. It offers a wide array of features to incentivize customers to add more items to their cart. However, if the primary goal is to simplify the payment process and improve conversion rates specifically at the payment stage, Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero is the more suitable option. It caters to stores with complex payment setups or a need to tailor the payment options to specific customer segments.
Ultimately, the choice depends on where the merchant perceives the biggest bottleneck in their sales funnel. If the cart itself is the problem, Opus is the solution. If the payment options are confusing or irrelevant for some customers, Payment Rules is the answer.
