Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned about basic image theft and who value simplicity above all else, Ongoing Disable Right Click is likely the better choice. Its high rating suggests it performs its core function well and is easy to use. However, for merchants facing more sophisticated threats, or those wanting to proactively monitor and manage their store's security against international attacks and developer tools, Shop Protector offers a more robust solution despite its slightly lower rating. Shop Protector also appears to be the only option to block users by country.
Ultimately, the choice depends on the level of security desired and the technical expertise of the merchant. If the merchant can handle more complicated tools and is very worried about content theft, Shop Protector has more tools to meet that need.
