Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking comprehensive control over automated emails, file transfers, and store data updates based on granular triggers and conditions, Notifications by Modd Apps is the stronger choice. Its support for Liquid provides unparalleled customization, albeit with a steeper learning curve. It is suited for businesses with complex operational needs.
Conversely, SuperBuzz is ideal for merchants aiming to boost sales and customer retention through automated, AI-powered push notifications. Its ease of use and focus on sales make it a better option for those prioritizing quick deployment and simplified marketing automation, especially for businesses with less technical expertise. It sacrifices customization for ease of use, with the intention of attracting as many people to a store via push notifications. If you are looking for a robust system to drive internal communication and customer tags, Superbuzz will not meet these requirements. SuperBuzz is better for simple marketing campaigns to boost customer engagement.
