Our Verdict
The choice between Notifications by Modd Apps and RocketPush depends heavily on a merchant's specific needs. If a merchant requires advanced automation, customized internal and external notifications based on complex rules, and the ability to update store objects programmatically, Notifications by Modd Apps is the clear winner. Conversely, if the primary goal is to improve customer engagement and drive sales through direct, immediate communication, RocketPush, with its focus on web push notifications and potentially WhatsApp, is the more appropriate solution. A merchant seeking to optimize both internal processes and external communication might eventually consider integrating both tools into their Shopify store.
