Notch – Customer Support Suite vs Stylo: AI in Zendeskfor Shopify (2026)
Both Notch – Customer Support Suite and Stylo: AI in Zendesk aim to improve customer support for Shopify merchants, but they take drastically different approaches. Notch positions itself as a complete customer support outsourcing solution, offering a fully managed service powered by AI and expert teams. This is ideal for merchants seeking a hands-off approach and are comfortable relinquishing control over their support operations. Stylo, conversely, focuses on augmenting existing Zendesk workflows with AI, specifically addressing common order-related inquiries. It targets merchants who already use Zendesk and want to enhance their team's efficiency by automating responses to frequently asked questions. The key difference lies in whether a merchant wants full support outsourcing (Notch) or AI-powered Zendesk augmentation (Stylo).

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants struggling with customer support and looking for a completely hands-off solution, Notch – Customer Support Suite is likely the better choice, provided they trust the AI and expert teams handling their customer interactions. However, for merchants who already utilize Zendesk and want to improve their agents' efficiency and automate common order-related queries, Stylo: AI in Zendesk presents a targeted and potentially more cost-effective solution. The relatively low number of reviews for both apps suggests caution and further research is warranted, but the core value propositions are clear. If a merchant is happy with their current Zendesk setup, but wants to improve its efficiency, Stylo is the clear winner.
