NoIndexly ‑ Sitemap Manager vs SEO Speed Image Optimizerfor Shopify (2026)
NoIndexly ‑ Sitemap Manager and SEO Speed Image Optimizer, while both categorized under SEO on Shopify, address very different aspects of search engine optimization. NoIndexly focuses on preventing duplicate content issues by allowing merchants to easily manage NoIndex/Nofollow tags. It is designed for merchants who have identified (or anticipate) potential duplicate content problems within their store, possibly due to multiple versions of pages. SEO Speed Image Optimizer, on the other hand, centers around image optimization to improve site speed and SEO. It helps merchants compress and resize images, optimize alt text, and track their image optimization efforts. The key differentiator is the target area of SEO: NoIndexly manages crawlability and indexation, while SEO Speed Image Optimizer focuses on site performance and accessibility. Our Verdict
For merchants experiencing (or anticipating) duplicate content issues and needing granular control over what search engines index, NoIndexly ‑ Sitemap Manager is the more suitable choice. Its specific focus on NoIndex/Nofollow tags provides a targeted solution for that particular SEO challenge. However, for the vast majority of Shopify merchants looking to improve overall site performance and image SEO, SEO Speed Image Optimizer is the clear winner. The high number of positive reviews suggests it effectively addresses a common pain point: slow loading times and poorly optimized images. It provides a broader SEO benefit than the niche functionality of NoIndexly.
