NAPPS | Mobile App Builder vs Wapikit ‑ Sell on WhatsAppfor Shopify (2026)
NAPPS | Mobile App Builder and Wapikit ‑ Sell on WhatsApp cater to very different needs within the Shopify ecosystem, despite both falling under the 'Selling online - Other' category. NAPPS aims to provide merchants with a mobile app for their Shopify store, presumably allowing for a more branded and direct customer experience via iOS and Android devices. Its strength lies in its perfect 5-star rating based on 29 reviews, suggesting high user satisfaction. Conversely, Wapikit focuses on conversational commerce via WhatsApp, leveraging AI to automate sales, support, and product recommendations within the popular messaging platform. Its appeal lies in its potential to personalize customer interactions at scale, potentially saving time and improving customer relationships. However, it has no ratings or reviews, indicating it might be a very new app or one that hasn't gained traction yet. The core difference lies in the customer touchpoint. NAPPS provides a dedicated mobile application, offering a branded experience that sits alongside other apps on a customer's phone. Wapikit, on the other hand, operates within WhatsApp, meeting customers where they already are and engaging in direct, personalized conversations. NAPPS's value proposition seems to be centered around enhanced branding and control over the customer experience through a dedicated app. Wapikit's value is in conversational commerce, instant customer service, and personalized recommendations, all automated through AI within WhatsApp. Ultimately, the choice between these two depends heavily on a merchant's specific goals. If a merchant prioritizes a dedicated branded mobile presence and the reviews are legitimate, NAPPS may be more appealing. However, if the merchant wants to automate customer interactions on WhatsApp and is comfortable being an early adopter with an unproven app, Wapikit could be worth considering.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking to establish a dedicated mobile presence and brand experience, NAPPS | Mobile App Builder appears to be the more established and positively reviewed option, assuming the provided reviews are authentic. Its strength lies in offering a branded app directly on customer's phones. However, merchants should carefully examine the effort required to build and maintain such an app.
On the other hand, Wapikit ‑ Sell on WhatsApp caters to merchants keen on leveraging WhatsApp for customer engagement and sales automation. While it promises a human-like AI experience, its lack of reviews raises concerns about its reliability and effectiveness. Wapikit might be a suitable choice for merchants willing to experiment with emerging AI technologies and comfortable with being an early adopter, but a high level of caution is advisable.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on the app descriptions, Wapikit likely offers a simpler setup process, focusing on integrating with WhatsApp and configuring AI conversation flows. NAPPS, being a mobile app builder, might involve a more complex development process, though no data confirms that either way.
Which app offers better branding opportunities?
NAPPS | Mobile App Builder likely provides superior branding opportunities, as it allows merchants to create a fully branded mobile application with their own logo, design, and user interface. Wapikit's branding is limited to the tone and style of the AI conversations within WhatsApp.
Which app is more suitable for customer support automation?
Wapikit ‑ Sell on WhatsApp is explicitly designed for customer support automation, using AI to handle queries and support issues on WhatsApp. NAPPS doesn't mention specific customer support features in its app store description, meaning that any CS functionality would be handled within the app itself.
Which app is more future-proof?
That's difficult to say. Conversational AI is becoming increasingly prevalent in commerce, so Wapikit could be considered a more 'future-proof' solution. However, branded apps continue to hold value. The relative future-proofness will depend on how well each app adapts to evolving customer expectations and technological advancements.
What are the potential drawbacks of Wapikit's AI-powered approach?
The primary potential drawbacks of Wapikit's AI approach include the risk of the AI not understanding customer requests correctly, providing inaccurate information, or failing to capture the desired brand voice. Furthermore, customers may prefer interacting with a human agent for complex issues.
