Common Questions
Do both apps require developer assistance for installation?
MyRegistry Gift List Solution emphasizes 'no developer required' for its 'Lite' version, indicating a simple self-install process. Recurpay highlights a 'developer-friendly setup' with API access, suggesting more advanced customization options may require developer knowledge, although the initial setup is described as quick and easy.
Can I offer discounts with both apps?
Recurpay explicitly mentions 'tiered discount' functionality, implying that offering discounts on subscriptions is a built-in feature. MyRegistry Gift List Solution doesn't directly mention discounts; any discount strategies would likely need to be implemented through separate Shopify features and highlighted on the registry platform.
Are these apps suitable for high-traffic stores?
MyRegistry Gift List Solution is described as 'designed for retailers with modest website traffic', suggesting it might not be optimized for very high-volume stores. Recurpay doesn't explicitly mention traffic limitations, but given its feature set and focus on recurring payments, it's likely built to handle a larger scale of transactions and subscriptions.
Do these apps integrate with other marketing platforms?
Neither app description explicitly mentions integrations with other marketing platforms. This information would require further investigation, possibly by contacting the app developers or checking their documentation.
How easy is it to cancel the app subscriptions?
Both app descriptions do not offer information on the ease of app uninstallation or subscription cancellation of the apps themselves.
