MyGLS Professional vs Stellar Delivery Date & Pickupfor Shopify (2026)
MyGLS Professional and Stellar Delivery Date & Pickup are both Shopify apps in the Shipping category, but they address very different needs. MyGLS Professional focuses on streamlining GLS (General Logistics Systems, specifically GLS Eastern Europe) shipping operations, providing unlimited label printing, parcel shop integration, order status tracking, and features like automatic zip code completion for certain countries. Its high rating suggests satisfaction among its users, albeit with a smaller review base. It targets merchants heavily reliant on GLS for shipping within Eastern Europe and needing comprehensive GLS management tools. Stellar Delivery Date & Pickup, on the other hand, is centered on enhancing the customer experience by allowing them to schedule delivery dates and times for local delivery, store pickup, and general shipping. Its features include a flexible delivery calendar, rescheduling options, and route planning assistance. With a larger number of reviews, it has a slightly lower rating but appeals to a broader audience, particularly food, florist, grocery, and bakery stores managing local deliveries and store pickups. Its strength lies in improving customer satisfaction and reducing delivery-related inquiries. The app also integrates with Shopify Plus stores. Ultimately, the choice between the two depends on the merchant's specific requirements: those heavily relying on GLS will benefit most from MyGLS Professional, while those prioritizing customer scheduling and local delivery management will find Stellar Delivery Date & Pickup more useful.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily shipping with GLS within Eastern Europe, MyGLS Professional is the clear winner. Its focus on GLS integration, unlimited label printing, and specific features like Romanian zip code autofill make it an indispensable tool. The higher rating, while based on fewer reviews, indicates strong satisfaction among its target users.
However, if a merchant needs to offer flexible delivery date and time options, manage local deliveries, or handle store pickups, Stellar Delivery Date & Pickup is the more suitable choice. Its broader appeal, customer-centric features, and larger review base suggest it's a reliable solution for improving the customer experience and streamlining delivery operations, especially for businesses like food stores or florists.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
It depends on the merchant's existing shipping setup. If a merchant is already using GLS, MyGLS Professional will likely be easier to integrate. However, if a merchant is not using GLS and needs a general delivery scheduling solution, Stellar Delivery Date & Pickup would be easier to adopt.
Does MyGLS Professional work with other carriers besides GLS?
Based on the provided description, MyGLS Professional is specifically designed for GLS. It does not appear to support other carriers.
Can Stellar Delivery Date & Pickup handle international shipping?
The description doesn't explicitly mention international shipping, but the focus on 'shipping orders' suggests it can handle both domestic and potentially international shipments, as long as the scheduling aspects are relevant. However, its strengths lie in local delivery and pickup management.
Which app is better for larger Shopify Plus stores?
Stellar Delivery Date & Pickup specifically mentions integration and checkout page display for Shopify Plus stores. MyGLS Professional doesn't make any special mention of Shopify Plus compatibility in the provided description, suggesting Stellar Delivery Date & Pickup is likely a better fit for Plus merchants.
Which app offers better value for money?
Without pricing information, it's impossible to definitively say. However, 'unlimited labels' with MyGLS Professional could represent better value for high-volume GLS shippers, while Stellar Delivery Date & Pickup's broader functionality may be more valuable to merchants needing flexible scheduling and delivery management.
