MyGLS Professional vs OrderMate ‑ Delivery & Pickupfor Shopify (2026)
MyGLS Professional and OrderMate - Delivery & Pickup both operate within the 'Shipping' category on Shopify, but cater to distinctly different merchant needs. MyGLS Professional is a GLS Eastern Europe shipping label and order management solution. It focuses on streamlining the GLS shipping process, offering features like unlimited label printing, parcel shop integration, and automated order tracking. It primarily benefits merchants who rely on GLS for shipping, particularly within Eastern Europe, and seek to automate and simplify their shipping workflow. OrderMate - Delivery & Pickup, on the other hand, enhances the customer experience by providing delivery and pickup scheduling options. It allows customers to select delivery dates, times, and pickup locations directly from the cart page. This app aims to improve customer satisfaction and is particularly well-suited for businesses dealing with time-sensitive products, such as food, florists, and bakeries. The key difference lies in their core function: MyGLS Professional optimizes the shipping process itself, while OrderMate focuses on customer-facing delivery and pickup options. The fact they share a broad Shopify Category masks their very specialized use cases.
