MyGLS Professional vs Order Printer Templatesfor Shopify (2026)
MyGLS Professional and Order Printer Templates both address order-related needs for Shopify merchants, but target vastly different aspects. MyGLS Professional is specifically designed for merchants operating within the GLS Eastern Europe shipping network, offering comprehensive label creation, parcel shop integration, order tracking, and other shipping-related functionalities. Its strength lies in automating and streamlining the GLS shipping process, catering to merchants who heavily rely on this carrier. In contrast, Order Printer Templates focuses on enhancing the professionalism and branding of order-related documents like invoices, packing slips, and return forms. It empowers merchants to create visually appealing and informative documents without requiring coding skills. Order Printer Templates aims to improve the customer experience and brand perception through professional documentation. It excels at providing customizable templates that can be easily translated and used across different languages. MyGLS Professional, on the other hand, provides more tangible business value related to the efficiency and automation of parcel shipping. While both apps share the 'Orders' category on Shopify, their functionalities are not directly comparable as they serve completely different needs in the order fulfillment process.

Our Verdict
The choice between MyGLS Professional and Order Printer Templates depends entirely on the merchant's specific needs. If a business primarily utilizes GLS for shipping within Eastern Europe, MyGLS Professional is the clear choice due to its specialized features for GLS label creation, parcel shop integration, and order tracking. It is not a general shipping solution, but a targeted app. Order Printer Templates, on the other hand, offers value to virtually any Shopify merchant, irrespective of location or shipping carrier, by providing tools to customize order-related documents. If the goal is to improve the visual appeal and professionalism of invoices and packing slips, Order Printer Templates is the superior option. A business *could* benefit from both, but they address distinct business needs.
