MyDesigns: Print on Demand vs STTM: Dropshipping & Sourcingfor Shopify (2026)
Both MyDesigns: Print on Demand and STTM: Dropshipping & Sourcing are sourcing options on Shopify, but they cater to different business models. MyDesigns focuses specifically on print-on-demand (POD) businesses, providing tools for creating mockups, publishing, and fulfilling custom products at scale. Its value proposition centers around ease of use and time-saving through features like bulk publishing. STTM, on the other hand, is a broader dropshipping and sourcing solution, emphasizing higher profitability through low-cost sourcing and efficient logistics, including global warehousing and inventory management. The primary difference lies in their specialization. MyDesigns is the go-to choice for merchants primarily focused on offering customizable, print-on-demand products. STTM is better suited for merchants looking for a more comprehensive dropshipping solution, encompassing sourcing, logistics, inventory management, and product recommendations, potentially offering customized POD products as a subset of its broader offerings. Both apps have similar review counts but slightly differing ratings, with MyDesigns having a perfect 5/5 and STTM a near-perfect 4.9/5. Choosing between them hinges on whether a merchant's business revolves around POD or involves a more diverse range of sourced products.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants whose core business model is print-on-demand, MyDesigns: Print on Demand is the clear winner. Its features are specifically tailored to streamline the POD process, from creating mockups to efficient fulfillment. The focus on bulk publishing and personalized product fulfillment makes it ideal for scaling a POD business.
However, if a merchant is looking for a more comprehensive dropshipping solution with sourcing, logistics, inventory management, and product recommendations, STTM: Dropshipping & Sourcing is the better choice. While it may also offer some POD capabilities, its strength lies in its end-to-end dropshipping service and global warehouse network. Merchants looking for a general dropshipping solution beyond POD will find STTM more suitable.
