Our Verdict
For merchants heavily reliant on Facebook Catalog and seeking a fast, no-fuss setup with a focus on a specific channel, Optim Feed is the clear choice. Its 'quick & easy' headline and description emphasize its simplicity. However, merchants employing a multi-channel marketing strategy across various platforms (including, but not limited to Facebook) would benefit more from Mulwi's extensive feed support. It seems more focused on those that require broader coverage, although a higher setup complexity could be a trade-off.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Optim Feed is likely much faster to set up due to its limited scope and focus on Facebook Catalog. Mulwi, with its 200+ feed options, will probably require more configuration.
Which app is better for a store with a very large product catalog?
Both apps claim to handle large product catalogs. Optim Feed explicitly states it can handle 100,000+ variants. Mulwi's capability is unclear based on the provided information.
Which app offers more control over product data mapping?
Both offer a degree of customization. Optim Feed provides options for title customization, collection filtering, and custom label mapping. Mulwi's options are implied to be broader (due to more feed types supported), though specifics are not listed.
Does either app automatically connect to my Facebook Catalog?
Optim Feed states that it does *not* automatically connect to Facebook. Mulwi's auto-connect capabilities are unclear based on the provided information, but given the higher number of feeds supported, the user might be more hands-on.
Which app is better for a new Shopify store?
If the new Shopify store's initial marketing plan primarily focuses on Facebook, Optim Feed is likely the better choice due to its ease of setup. Mulwi is a stronger choice if the initial plan includes various marketing channels.
