MS Barcode Labels & Generator vs TPM Weightifyfor Shopify (2026)
MS Barcode Labels & Generator and TPM Weightify cater to distinct needs within the Shopify retail ecosystem. MS Barcode Labels & Generator is a well-established application designed to streamline barcode and SKU creation, label design, and printing, particularly beneficial for businesses managing inventory and sales through standardized barcodes. Its integration with Stocky enhances its value proposition for merchants already using that inventory management system. TPM Weightify, on the other hand, is a newer, unproven app specifically designed for merchants selling products by weight within a Point of Sale environment, focusing on simplifying weight entry during checkout and minimizing manual errors. The primary divergence lies in their core functionalities: MS Barcode Labels & Generator emphasizes efficient label generation and printing, while TPM Weightify prioritizes accurate weight-based product management at the point of sale. MS Barcode Labels & Generator is focused on overall product identification and inventory control for retail, whereas TPM Weightify's utility is significantly narrower, concentrated on stores selling items measured by weight. Consequently, the appropriate choice depends entirely on whether a merchant requires barcode management capabilities or weight-based sales enhancements.

Our Verdict
For the majority of retail businesses needing comprehensive barcode generation, label design, and printing capabilities, MS Barcode Labels & Generator appears to be the superior choice, especially considering its high rating and positive user reviews. Its integration with Stocky further enhances its appeal for merchants already using that platform.
However, for a niche segment of businesses primarily focused on selling products by weight in a physical store setting, TPM Weightify may offer significant value, if it works as advertised. Given the lack of user feedback and the absence of a rating, thorough testing and evaluation are crucial before committing to this application. If accurate weight-based sales are essential and TPM Weightify delivers on its promises of seamless integration and error reduction, it could be a game-changer for specific merchant types. But the risk is higher due to the lack of a user base.
