Moose: AI Chatbot & Live Chat vs RQ ‑ WhatsApp Chat Buttonfor Shopify (2026)
Moose: AI Chatbot & Live Chat and RQ ‑ WhatsApp Chat Button both aim to improve customer communication on Shopify stores, but they approach this goal very differently. Moose is positioned as a comprehensive, AI-powered helpdesk solution designed to automate customer support across multiple channels, handling everything from initial inquiries to complex issue resolution. Its core strength lies in its AI's ability to learn from existing data, providing 24/7 support and freeing up human agents for more demanding tasks. It's ideal for merchants seeking a robust solution to handle a high volume of support requests. RQ ‑ WhatsApp Chat Button, in contrast, focuses specifically on leveraging WhatsApp for customer engagement and marketing. Its primary function is to facilitate direct communication with customers via WhatsApp, automating tasks like abandoned cart recovery, order updates, and review requests. It also provides a customizable chat button for direct customer contact. This app is more suited for merchants who want to directly engage with customers through WhatsApp for marketing and sales purposes, rather than focusing on a comprehensive support solution.
